Love is patient and kind: love does not envy or boast: it is not arrogant or rude.
It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;
it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.
Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never ends...
— English Standard Version Bible: 1 Corinthians 13

We know your wedding is one of the most important days of your life, so here are some important steps to help you have the best day possible

  • Do contact us as soon as you decide you would like to get married at St Thomas Church (see 'contact us' on main menu)

If you don't live in the parish or attend St Thomas there are 'qualifying connections' which may allow you to marry here

  • We will arrange a time to meet with both of you to discuss your wedding plans

  • We will set a provisional date with you

  • You can now begin to plan the service with the priest who will be conducting the ceremony

A good ceremony planner can be found on the 'Your church wedding website' by clicking on this link

  • Marriage is a big commitment so we will wish to help you think about how life might change (for the better) when you marry, and where there may be stumbling blocks
