Mow Cop is also known for the 'Killer Mile' road race
Up to 700 runners take part is a series of races up a 1:4 hill

Our waterfall of poppies commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Armistice.
People from both church and community, some known to us, and some who gave anonymously, knitted these beautiful poppies in many shades of red to create this wonderful waterfall of poppies. We had a commemorative service followed by a village tea. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this a memorable event.
Even a fence-post is beautiful when it snows!
