In times of bereavement, the last thing people want is extra stress. Here at St Thomas we will, do our best to give your loved one a fitting funeral service, one which honours them as a person, and which allows space for remembering and mourning.

Although it seems a daunting task we will do all we can to make the process easier for you.

Once we have been contacted by the undertaker a date for the service can be arranged; remember that the date will have to be one which is available for the undertakers, clergy and crematorium / cemetery. (Please note that St Thomas is a closed churchyard so not available for burials)

We may well know you and your family, but even if we don't we will take time to spend with you and to talk through the service with you. It often helps if you, and your family, have thought about whether you would like a eulogy to be read and what you would like to include in that eulogy. For helpful advice on this click here
